We enjoy exploring different styles of music. Our “string theory” is that all styles of music are truly connected.

Writing instrumental music poses many challenges, one of which is to distinguish the songs from one another without lyrics. We like to keep things musically interesting by writing in different styles. The songs on this album are a mix of jazz, fusion, Latin, blues, and rock with many elements crossing over. All this is tied together by underlying Latin rhythmic influences. Another challenge is coming up with titles. The music’s initial inspiration will often give us ideas, or a title may come from a mental image or feeling we get while playing the song.
